The Fourth Day of Nerd Christmas: Wonder Woman Snuggie
On the fourth day of Christmas, behold the Wonder Woman Snuggie from Hot Topic. Yes, I know that I'm entirely too old to shop at Hot Topic, but that's another sigh of resignation for another time.
Oh, there's a recipe for totally messed up body image if ever I've seen one. :D I could also see that being a cathair magnet - in a really terrible location.

Marcella, the messed-up body image part of it came when I ordered it and it BARELY wraps around my hips. Grumph. The cats adore it, though - it is incredibly soft and doesn't show much cat hair.
That is exactly why they have a website! So those of us who aren't still in high school don't have to miss out on stuff like this. :P
I look younger than I am, though, so I don't really get side-eye when I go into places that are too young for me. XD
Either way, I used to make fun of Snuggie all the time, but this one is really cool! I think I remember seeing a Ninja Turtles one in the window of Spencer's once, but didn't have time to go in and look.
But I have to say that it really throws me for a loop when Hot Topic asks for my birthdate when I check out. I do feel slightly humiliated, like there will be a pop-up that says: "No! You're too old and not cool enough to be here!"
